Helen Hong Wang who is an acupuncturist and TCM doctor was born and grew up in China, obtained qualifications from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine ( SHTCM) where she was awarded the annual award for most outstanding performance in her studies. Following this, she worked at Traditional Chinese Medicine department where she completed an internship. During the 7 years of hospital work, she undertook extensive clinical training and mentoring, extended her studies and clinical skills. Helen has been featured in the large international interchange series ” Dictionary of World Outstanding Medicine Experts Talent Chinese Volume ” due to her outstanding skills and performance. After migrating to Australia in December 2000 as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, she set up and founded the Rainbow Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Massage Centre ( RCMAMC ) in March 2001. With over 30 years practice experience in clinic and hospital, Helen runs an acupuncture, herbal medicine and remedial massage therapy practices, and specialises in IVF support, help for muscular skeletal conditions, nervous system, respiratory and digestive system, circulatory and reproductive system conditions. Integrates with different TCM techniques whilst helping patients, for example mirror-X, scalp acupuncture, navel button acupuncture-therapy, electrotherapy and herbal tea. Whilst specializing for helping pain relief, sprains and strains, headache / migraine, gynaecological disorders such as irregular menstruation and menopausal syndrome, male and female infertility, sciatica, sinusitis , insomnia , sexual dysfunction, allergies / asthma, weight loss, paralysis / numbness and stress / anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome and health maintenance.

Visiting & Consultation
In RCMAMC clinics, we believe that every visitor, and patients who have been received treatment, everyone should be able to take advantage of the wonderful therapeutic, stress relieving, disease release benefits of acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and massage therapies. This is because our therapists are in conformity with “Great Medicine & absolute sincerity” spirit, are committed to ensuring that every patient can receive the best treatment and reasonable, enjoy a caring and healing experience provided by professional practitioners and to release disease, to eliminate pain. If you have never visited RCMAMC clinic or have not been receiving a professional acupuncture, Chinese medicine or other treatment such as massage therapy. We believe that this would be helpful for you to know what to expect on your first visit.
Visit and consultation
Once you arrive at RCMAMC clinics, you will be asked to fill out a client information form. so TCM doctors and therapists have an overall understanding where you record any your medical history, past and present injuries and other diseases/ physical conditions. In the meantime, therapists will inquire you about your current physical conditions in accordance with records you provided and any specific areas in which you are experiencing pain or would like addressed during your treatment. Also, therapists check your posture and the other condition of your body to decide the appropriate treatment plan.
Treatment room
After the initial consultation and diagnosis, therapists will then take you to a peaceful treatment room where there is air conditioning, a comfortable massage table dressed with a warming blanket and crisp clean towels awaits.
During acupuncture or massage treatment process, if you need to take off some clothes, the therapists will prompt you, at the same time, your professional therapist will leave the room and wait outside while you disrobe. Once disrobed, you will lie on the massage table or sitting on chair under a towel provided. Your therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask if you are ready before entering your room.
You will always be draped with towels during your treatment session and an additional blanket is available at your request. Your therapist will only uncover the part of the body they are working on, ensuring that your modesty is respected at all times.
Once your acupuncture or massage therapy session is completed, your therapist will leave the room so you may re-dress.
In this quiet and comfortable environment, it will be accompanying with relaxing music playing, unless you request otherwise, you will be physically and mentally relaxed, the pressure will be eliminated.
